Quillin is talented but lazy in the ring. I think Jacobs will win. Both are better than Andy Lee and Lemieux in my book.

This is the 4th WBA "world" Middleweight title fight in the last two months.

Nope. But it's a battle between two legitimate contenders, with the winner in line to fight for the championship. Can't go wrong with that.

:huh I thought you said Jacobs was fighting Quillin, buttsy?
Apart from the 'fight-changing power' bit (he does hit hard with both hands in fairness to the guy), your description doesnt fit the Quillin I've seen.

Only one winner here - Jacobs.

Quillen is frustrating to watch, as you mention talented but lazy. What Jacobs has overcome leads me to cheer him on for victory.

The fight won't make it past the third round Quillin by devastating KO.

    :blood

He fights like an idiot sometimes, especially when forced (or compelled by his own ego) to lead and be the aggressor, but he is capable of boxing and does possess the athleticism to occasionally be slicker than he is dumb.

Granted, not as slick as "fellow" (real) Cuban, Erislandy Lara, nor is he the slickest of top middleweights, probably behind N'Dam, Monroe Jr., and his upcoming foe Jacobs in that dept., but he's a fair slicker than others like Stevens, Lemieux, Khytrov, Heiland, Canelo (at least when it comes to foot speed; Canelo is pretty slick with upper body movement) or Lee.

Jacobs has to box Quillin to win. He's got to keep Quillin on the outside, and just touch him. If Jacobs can make Quillin come to him, I think he can win, but if Jacobs goes right at Quillin, Quillin by KO.

Even if Jacobs plans on boxing, I'm not sure he has the ability to win a CLEAR decision against Quillin.

    Jacobs stopped by Korobov
    Jacobs stopped by Pirog.
Jacobs was stunned by Truax once.
And was dropped hard by Sergio Mora.

    Case Closed.:deal

To the best of my knowledge, Jacob hasn't outright ducked GGG.

Quillin straight up ducked GGG though.

Hopefully Jacobs wins, so the GGG vs Jacobs fight can be made. If Jacobs can get past Quillin, I'd say he's legit.
