At the end of 4 rds it looked like a saloon brawl: these guys were seeing red without barely a concern for defense.

I haven’t watched yet, but you have two Thais with elite MT backgrounds fighting in Thailand with an MT ref on an Thai studio Workpoint card in I’m guessing evening prime time don’t be surprised by the lack of defence...it’s all but an MT fight with boxing rules.

Both men intent on being last man standing. Throwing big bombs for fun in that 5th round. Ruenroeng clearly ran out of power as that round went on and it was all just too much.

    Great effort by both men!

    WTF WTF WTF WTF WTF WTF @CST80 @KO KIDD @Chuck Norris @Boxing Prospect @Zakman @Badbot @jont @McGrain @Tomato(e) Can @CLUBBER @lepinthehood

This was a fake fight, "Muay Lom" a thrown fight, Amnat was bought in to fake it. This fight was heavy sparring nothing more. The exchanges were tit for tat....my turn your turn. Nothing thrown with real venom except to the body. Everything neat and tidy as you like with two ex MT fighters.....really!?!? The KO was fake as **** and terrible even by Thai standards of fakery..... appallingly low grade of fakery. Look at the two fighters form the opening bell to touch gloves...big smiles to each other......then follow the judges throughout the rounds smiling and the corner guys. Not to mention the perfect exchanges.... and the rocky type KO, come on guys!!!!! How the **** did none of you guys see this **** form the 1st round!!!! Thais are masters of this in MT as they put on numerous shows for foreigners to make money up and down the country I should know I've been involved in many of them. The next paragraphs I've left because I wrote them before I watched the fight but give you a bit of a prism with witch to view this again!

This was pure cringe from start to finish. Workpoint is the biggest mainstream TV soap opera and quiz show producers purely run and dominated by the urban Thai Chinese elite. They know nothing about fighting, have little care or interest for anything fight related and it is a pure commercial enterprise that puts into place no welfare for the fighters,They capitalise on matching shot ex MT greats 60 kilos up versus novice foreign fighters. They operate outside the conventional national and well oiled fight machine with cast off fighters. Their audience is ignorant foreigners and Thais who have never watched MT or boxing before and know nothing, not even a casual's knowledge....less than a casual's knowledge. They dipped their toes into the Muay Thai world with Thai Fight after Buakaw's success in K-1, which 99,999% of Thai people have never even seen, promoting worn out shot fighters thrown out of the superior domestic MT circuit once they are thoroughly shot such as Buakaw, Yodsanklai, Seanchai etc etc and had some success with the middle class in a flashy prime time TV format from multiple international and Thai locations....... the same racist middle class that has always seen Muay Thai and Muay Sakon (boxing) as low grade and low class sub interest of dark skinned rural non Thai Chinese morons! The crowd have no idea who the Thai fighters are or who the special guest P4P King SSR is, they are university students and local people invited in free of charge for the afternoon. :vomiton22je:

Anyway, in the context I've outlined above you have to view this fight in a TV studio. Thai prime time TV, money on the line with bonuses for an exciting fight at a Muay Thai tempo. Ex MT elite fighters who have been fighting as pros since the age of seven as Amnat explains in his intro fighting for nothing but pure dough. No reason to this fight except for dough in a way that is alien in the west. No rankings, sanctions, nothing. That's why you had a ding dong, pure Thai style, we see this all the time on the Thai MT scene. The ageing MT warrior Amnat was bought into to lose and I suspect paid big dough to go out on his shield publicly, the smile before the touch of gloves in Rd one says all. Remember in Thailand strongest fighter in the red corner weaker fighter in the blue corner, always.

So you mean in Thailand, they don't do a Bruce Seldon or "special" UK jobs, and really accept to be clubbed unconscious?

    Wow.
