To Call Hopkins over rated is a very stupid comment... maybe you should learn more about boxing. No Offence.

 

And so calling Calzaghe overrated is ok? :huh

 

If these two are overrated I'd love to know who the true elites are? :nut

 

Ive always tought Calzaghe was over rated, and i can argue it, but i understand why so many people love him, he has been undefeated for so long and no matter who you fight, that hard,, But can you argue about Hopkins ? If you can... please do.

No neither guy is overrated imo. I was just throwing it out there to see if you actually thought JC was overrated. So im guessing that you are taking BHop for the win on saturday?

 

I am, Triniad was my all time favorite fighter, and when he chose to fight Hopkins I knew he was done, 5 years ago I would have bet my car on Hopkins beating Calzaghe... But lets face it Hopkins is old man and still I think he can beat Calzaghe. No matter how the odds look I always go with what I honestly think. Regardless of wether I like or hate a fighter

 

So how do you think BHop will beat him?

 

Hopkins is overrated because

#1 he lost two controversial fights vs. the 14 years younger Taylor at 40. He’s so overrated that judges HAD TO cheat on him unless Hopkins would have never believed that he’s overrated what we already knew
#2 he defeated p4p#3 Winky at the age of 42. Why did he wait for that long? He’s an overrated bum because he fights p4p-ers 40+ instead of eating a lot and getting fat like other normal American citizens
#3 he defeated p4p-er Tito and DLH via KO. Hopkins wasn’t good, they were bad and the Tito fight was fixed (I have proof, Hopkins OFFICALLY STATED that he bet his whole payday on himself! And guess what, he won! Cheater for fixing the fight) and DLH took a dive just like Cintron and everyone else, because if you have an iron chin, you can’t get knocked out on the body! Iron chin I say! No one has ever stopped DLH and Tito because of their iron chin!
#4 he managed to defeated Glen Johnson only via stoppage while everybody else managed to defeat him on points so not one (Hopkins) but 3 (corrupt judges) could say they were better than Glen. Shame on Hopkins! (By the way, who was the guy who dominated and knocked out Jones cold for 5 minutes? I forgot his name... wasn't it the same guy who gave future P4P-er Bad Chad an ass-kicking this Saturday?)
#5 yes, he only defeated smaller opponents incl. Antonio Tarver, a fake LHW champ, who's really a blown up Flyweight, and so shot that he couldn't lose a single round this Saturday vs. a world champion. Shame on Tarver!
#6 Hopkins is overrated because he dominated a division so badly, that he made the whole MW look weak for a decade. You *******! Why didn’t you took more shots to make the division more exciting? Why did you KOd our favorite KO artist, Tito?
#7 overrated because he was the first one to unify all 4 world titles in history. Yep, that means he fought for the meaningless WBO title as well, and everyone who’s related to the WBO is OVERRATED!
#8 overrated because he holds the record of the quickest KO ever in a MW world title fight. He ripped off the paying audience!
#9 overrated because James Toney managed to lose twice as many rounds vs. Jones than him and managed to get his a** on the canvas making his fight more memorable than Hopkins’, who tried, but failed to lose more rounds than 4 vs. one of the most talented fighter ever when he was just a one-dimensional aggressor
#10 overrated because Vincent Gottschalk says so!
