Good shout, both great fighters, difficult to call although it would be a war, Hatton for me.

Hatton was stronger and more athletic than Mancini. Have to pick Hatton here.

No sir Mancini was the better athletic. In the ABC Sports Show Superstars in 1984 RM came 7th
beating footballers Mark May , Bill Pickel and Storm Davis Baseball. RM cam 5th for the 100 yard dash
final in 11.87 sec. In the half mile run he came second 2.19 min behind Greg Foster 2.18 . 3rd was
2.31. GF won silver medal at 110 m hurdles 84 Olympics.
Stonger too was RM. RM trained old school . His trainer was Murphy Griffith uncle of Emile Griffith.
" I hung around the boxing gyms and saw the old training techniques " Murphy Griffith.
The drills RM did included doing pushups with 80lb sand bags on back , carrying that same sandbag
on his back while running up a hill and rolling a 75lb log up a hill. RM also shadow boxed underwater
and hitting a tire with baseball for 30 minutes.

Probably Hatton. Too strong, too physical for Boom Boom, but Hatton would eat some bombs early.
