Hatton......even now when people say he might be vulnerable

Katsidis was in a war (albeit one he dominated) with Graham Earl who isn't in Ricky Hatton's class, a bruising battle with Amonsot and was also beaten by an aging Casamayor...

Plus he's fighting at Light Welter and not Lightweight so carries the punch power advantage

It would be a pretty good fight and probably would get made if Katsidas had a bigger following. Ricky's got way more skills then he does and would kick his ass IMO.

We had this a few weeks ago, and it was fairly apparent to everybody except a few haters/idiots that Hatton has an easy nights work

Katsidas got beat the same way hatton got beat. but from an older, less skilled fighter. katsidas is a rising star aka young arturo gatti. but i favour hatton to win in a 12 round war.

I hate Hatton, but he wins this fight with relative ease.

i wouldn't take kats to beat luzcano anyday of the week, he almost got koed by graham earl who isn't a big puncher or half as good a fighter as luzcano.

I'm not one for defending that fat ****, but the occasion was massive, Ricky was too excitable, and he got caught with silly shots. Lazcano was a sitting duck; he was game, as he always is, but he was shot (footwork gone, head movement none existent and work rate not what it was). Ricky could have made it so much easier on himself. He wouldn't make the same mistake with Katsidis i would think; he's much more lively than Lazcano.

What does that have to do with a looping haymaker? Katsidis was breaking Casamayor down in that fight, where Hatton was being outboxed through most of his fight with Mayweather. The shots they both took that started the beginning of the end had little to do with the type of fighters but how the shots landed. Katsidis got to anxious (especially thinking it was the 11th!) and ran into his shot, but just because Casamayor was old does not mean diminish Katsidis. Hatton would've likely crashed to that shot as well.

On Hatton/Katsidis, that'd be an easy pick for Ricky because what most people forget is his boxing skills. He would most likely use his speed and movement to outbox Katsidis rather than a rough smothering approach.
