For the WBO title according to sources on the General forum citing sources in Germany.

Okay, so whether this happens or not how do you think it would go? Can another Brit pick up a world title?

Can slippery Afolabi outbox and confuse the somewhat wild Huck or is Huck too strong with too high of a work-rate to make the same mistakes as Enzo...?

    Go

I don't think he will gas out - he seems to have rectified that problem based on tonights performance. I see Huck winning a controversial UD, with the fight in all probabilities being in Germany.

I am just happy to see Ola getting a good paycheck if this fight does indeed go ahead, and he has a chance without a doubt.

Huck for me. You have to question the value of Afolabis win over Enzo...

I'm going Huck decision too. Main reason - Afolabi fights like a sparring partner rather than a man going for the W. Maybe the Enzo win has brought him some confidence.

If he fought like he did against Enzo he loses without a doubt because I don't see Huck getting KTFO, he's not as fragile, Afo doesn't punch that hard that he can afford to give away rounds with his clowning and low work-rate. Enzo was winning.

However, there is an intriguing dynamic because Afo is very slick, probably the closest to Cunningham as you might get and we saw the problems he caused Huck. Huck has learnt from it too, but nevertheless he hasn't fought anybody similar since.

Ola is not as slick as you say although Huck makes him look like Pea lol he's nothing like Cunningham either, USS is active, gives angles with much better agility and movement. Ola is too lazy and inactive, the Enzo fight was a long time ago and maybe flattered him a bit. hes got some decent skills but is too passive to ever be a dominant champion. He's a spoiler type fighter like Luis Collazo or Clottey.

Having said that there is no fighter right now that disgusts me more then Huck, that guy is garbage and way overrated, just awful to watch, so many flaws its ridiculous, another kickboxer trying his hand at the sweet science, straight lines, poor balance, squares up and has the circle of a battleship...if ola can't beat this style then he has little chance at the other top fighters

i'm going Afolabi UD or even stoppage, i just can't bring myself to pick a neanderthal like Huck even though Ola is nothing to right home about.

I was thinking more on the defensive side of things. Ola rolls with punches, uses his shoulder, ducks away, all the old school tricks to avoid punches or at least take the sting off them. I don't think Enzo got his attention once despite throwing the kitchen sink.

Cunningham is also quite slick and fast for a cruiser, and he really frustrated Huck by soaking up his attacks and tiring him out, making him pay for his mistakes at the same time which was something Ramirez is probably unable to do, and something none of Huck's opponents since Cunningham have been able to do.

I'm aware Ola hasn't got the full offensive arsenal of Cunningham, nor is he aesthetically similar, but there are parallels to be drawn..and..well they're both black.

The main thing that lets Ola down is the passive attitude you mention, comes from hanging round the gyms and sparring with James Toney for too long, he got into that mentality rather than making it on his own.

i know huck isn't exactly well schooled and he is very crude, but he does look absoultely devastating on the attack. if he could tidy it up abit (i havn't seen his latest fight) you have to give him a chance with most fighters? i think he would take afolabi out, although he does tuck up well and may go distance

I chose TKO for Huck but now I'm thinking UD win instead.

No you dont. He was simply the better fighter. BUT Afolabi can easily be outworked and is nothing more than a sparring partner. Huck by decision. He wont knock him out and Afolabi will revert back to his sparring partner ways.
