    In his prime Moore lost to lesser punchers than Foster. At the same time Bob never fought anyone as good as Archie.

    I wouldn't bet on the outcome buy I think I'd favor Foster by ko. I just think Moore has trouble with Fosters range, speed and power. I don't think I could argue against another scenario with Archie winning though. No way can a fighter like that be counted out against anyone.

    I think Archie manages to catch Bob late, after enduring hell early on.

    Foster was an extremely dangerous puncher at 175 but who did he ever beat to make him a favorite over Archie Moore ?

    it is a tough one, but based on ring generalship and the slightly superior ability to set up his shots effectively and economically, i favour moore
