Battle of the Planet Boxoff: U.S 2 U.K 1

    The battle of the planet boxoff kicked off with Mayweather beating Hatton and followed with Tarver's win over Woods. The U.K got on the board with a Calzaghe win over Hopkins. The series continues with Witter vs. Bradley. The U.K should even up the score in this fight before the U.S reclaims the lead when Pavlik sends Gary the Rocket Lockett into orbit. The boxoff consists of any championship fight(WBC/WBA/IBF/WBO/Ring) between a U.S and U.K fighter. The boxoff will finish in November.

    Anymore fights in the pipeline? (Calzaghe - Jones before November for the UK to seal victory?)

    Damnit. I hope Malignaggi or Jones can pull off the upset. Either that, or another fight needs to be made.

    Rubin Williams is a yank. However, that is not a title fight so it doesn't count.

    Why not Jefferies vs Fitzsimmons? Or at least Tyson - Lewis.

    Of course I picked an arbitrary place, it's something I just made up. I'm not going back all those years looking for every championship fight between the two nations. If you want to do so, feel free to make a thread about it.
