The best version of Tony Galento vs the best version of Tony Tubbs. Could Galento's left hook lay Tubbs out??

I think that Galento would have been a handful for Tubbs TBH.

Is that comment ('a handful') with or without irony? And shouldn't the title be "Battle of the Fat Tonys"? Not that I want to fat shame or anything, it just seemed like a missed opportunity.

Without irony. Remember, Galento may have not looked like much but he was a rough and tumble fighter with a monster of a left hook.

Yea, I go with Charlietf , Galento was a real scrapper, fearless and tough, would have out gamed Tubbs before half way.

Tubbs was by far the better boxer and would have a huge edge in height, reach and hand speed. The only danger for Tubbs is that he had a soft spot for left hooks and Galento Could throw some nasty ones. Other than that I’d favor Tubbs.

Tubbs' combination of size, speed and skill tears Galento into pieces.
