Any of you guys use/used them?

Thoughts on them, benefits, positives/negatives etc?

    They work.
I like throwing them into a routine to break things up.
Not really sure how well it transfers into boxing though.

I like them, but found working with heavy rubber bands I get made, are better. Although it does sound like a gale blowing :D,

Love the battle ropes. Great shoulder workout.

I use them as a "finisher" (tabata interval-style) at the end of an arm day or a Boxing session. Brutal.

Excellent stuff ... if not a direct carryover to boxing, a great conditioning activity that puts you in the red-zone pretty quickly; feet are planted, arms churning away, and core kicking in to keep everything stable. You could do worse ... it taxes you as well as anything else, and better than most.

In addition to the other comments, you can do the work from different angles. Up and down, side to side, circular, etc. Great exercise. I agree with someone's comment on doing them at the end.
