Lopez with the superior head movement, is jabbing his way in and letting the combos fly early, they trade, he busts Cardoso's nose. Which seemed get Cardoso pissed, he marched forward unloading the rest of the round, but Lopez was evasive enough to not take much damage.

Lopez is skittish of the power, and is not taking many risks. Cardoso coming forward like a machine, letting the combos flow. Lopez is looking for counter nows. Cardoso going to the body, Lopez realizes he needs to stand his ground and comes forward. They trade, Lopez took over, then eats a counter and backs off. Cardoso back on the front foot, wins the rest of the round. Although Lopez landed some nice counters.

Cardoso comes out quick, jabbing to the body. Lopez cagey early. Cardoso jabbing up top, landing rights here and there. Lopez countering over the top of his jab, but still getting outworked. Lopez fighting negative, and spending way too much time on the backfoot. Cardoso getting in close and landing compact hooks to the head. Then going to the body. He hurts him to it. He follows up, stuns him up top as well. The pressure from Cardoso is relentless.
