Being as favourable to Bautista as possible (as he is a Golden Boy fighter) is he still behind ?

I did think Heriberto Ruiz would be alot tougher than Bautista previous opponents since the loss to Ponce DeLeon. But I did not expect this !

Not even close on the scorecards. So much for the Goldenboy connection helping Batausta.

Great to see Ruiz get the win particularly after losing to Eric Morel last time out.

Messy fight with probably fifteen head clashes. Bautista was cut very badly early in the fight. He recovered well from the knock down (though not right away). Ruiz is a good fighter. It is really too bad that it wasn't a ten rounder, although Bautista would have still lost judging by the score cards unless he got a knock out.

Sigh... poor boomboom. He was clearly rushed into the limelight. Hope he does a Pacquiao and rises from this... But from what I see, all I can do is keep my palm on my face.

I don't understand why Golden Boy keep such a weak fighters like Boom Boom, it make them look bad. If you have fighter like Jhonny Gonzalez, who by the way not fighting on HBO card but only on Telefutura card.

Jhonny Gonzalez is an awesome fighter and I don't know why he is not getting better fights. He should take on recently unified champion Celestino Caballero HBO, that would be a cracking fight.
