    Rey Bautista's team rejected an offer to fight Juan Manuel Lopez in Dec 06. They said Boom Boom is not ready for Juanma.

    good move on the part of bautista's. juanma will just knock him out. bautista lacks head movements along with his poor chin

    True he is just not ready for the elite of the division the poor kid has already had his taste of the top guys and needs time to gain more experiance

    i think he will spend years to improve his defense. his last fight showed that he really is not into defensive style. he tried to be defensive in the first round, he looked awful.

    ...at least Bautista's handlers are definitely after their fighter's welfare--which sadly is not the case with many a fighter's handlers nowadays...
