Just rewatched the fight to see what all this complaining about Bayless refereeing. Yes Floyd clinched on the inside and usually was holding both of Maidana's arms, that is cause for an immediate separation which Bayless did. Never once did I see Bayless breaking up the fighters if there were punches being thrown. When the hands were flying Bayless did not interfere. Also wasnt part of Maidana's gameplan to not get to close, to not smother his work? Maidana had plenty of opportunities to throw clean effective punches he couldn't get the job done, so stop using Bayless as an excuse...

bull****, not once did he let them fight out of a clinch, he immediately jumped in every single time there was a clinch. anytime there even looked like there was going to be in a clinch he was ready to pounce. shame on maidana and his corner for not saying something and shame on maidana for not avoiding the clinches.

How Maidana going to fight out a clinch when he's not even trying? Chino was tired, hurt, and trying to rest, he went into the clinch willingly!

remember what you typed here. . .i will come back to it

so which is it? Was floyd Clinching or was he holding?

Excessively HOLDING your opponents arms is also cause for no less then a warning. Did that ever happen throughout this fight?

So we go back to the first quote. . .

Bayless let them fight when punching, but failed to enforce rules and regulations against not only Floyds excessive holding, but illegal use of forearms and elbows.

I would certainly say Bayless deserves a failing grade for his performance tonight.

But, as with all *****s, the truth is a hard realization to see when your eyes are so fixated on Floyds crotch

    that is all

I thought Floyd was running, how can you hold, run and still outland your opponent, landing all the effective shots, so if that's what Floyd is doing what then is Maidana doing?

Bayless only separated when they were holding. He never interrupted any inside attacks by Maidana. ******s need to watch the fight again.

This is just what I needed to see , a Floyd fan , who puts it in writing that they know absolutely fook all about boxing.

Fighters and Referee's are actually instructed to 'punch and get out' at no stage did Bayliss do this.

    Now log off fan boy.

I cannot wait for Manny and Floyd to retire.

Also for those who claim Floyd "paid off" the ref well I guess Team Chino paid off Tony Weeks therefore Floyd has proved he can beat Maidana regardless of who the ref is

Show me one clip where Maidana is trying to fight out a clinch, also if he know's Floyd is holding then do something else with your gameplan, stop plunging into his chest....I say Chino was fatigued and went into the clinch willingly

Actually he did break up 1 or 2 inside attacks...

I'm not referring to the ones where Maidana had one hand free either...both men had their hands free.
