Bayless did everything in his power to save Khan from being KTFO, he even called a knockdown to buy him time when he fell into the ropes

when it came to the 3rd knockdown Khan didnt hold his gloves up to say he was ok to continue meaning he was in no state to carry on fighting. If youve been that badly hurt and cant lift your hands up to defend yourself how do you expect any referee to let you continue?

Bayless undeniably gave Khan the benefit of the doubt after that first knockdown. After the third, even though Khan was responding, and didn't look all that hurt, as in dazed, Bayless just said "**** it".

 

The only thing Bayless robbed khan from getting was brain damage

 

Khan would have been down by at least three points anyway if the fight had continued. In that state, there was no way he was going to be able to come back.
