Nonsense. You can't look at the sheer number of countries who just handled this plainly better than we did and suggest we were done for regardless. We dithered, dallied, and d*icked about whilst nearly everywhere else got their houses well in order. We looked at Italy and thought 'oh how awful' and stuck our heads in the sand.

Plenty in this country need a proper wake up call. There's nothing remotely, innately special about being British. All the blitz-spirit bluster in the world means absolutely nothing to a virus. The worst thing is we had so much advance warning. We're an island nation, so a huge advantage there, for a virus that started thousands of miles away.

 

Please don't assume I was in anyway comparing how the UK has handled this compared to the rest of the world
My belief is labour or Conservative would have made numerous mistakes and we get to see the party in charges only mess things up

Totally agree in the UK whether Tories, Labour or the National Sex Party in Scotland.

South Korean football returns this time next week and an example of a country run by people who first of all saw the ship heading towards the rocks and took immediate action to save most of the ship and crew.

Our mob directed the good ship UK into the rocks at speed and thousands have paid the ultimate price as the UK sharply heads towards number 2 spot in the Global Covid 19 Deaths Table.
