This thread will make a good bump next year when their is two British champions in each weight and all the top prospects refuse to fight each other because they fight for separate brands/promoters etc. I really hope this fight is a good one because the ramifications could be severe.
meh, now that i think of it, will it be that big a deal? this fight aside, boxnation wasnt going to last much longer i think. they cant invent an 'event' every year to make sure it gets a big spike in subs.
There already a number of promoters who have approached the Luxembourg federation to potentially take out licenses.
The federation was set up long before Haye vs Chisora reared its head. That fight just happened to land in Bruce Baker's lap.
It's been in the works for a long, long time. I first heard about it last year and even then it had been gestating for a while.
