    fight of the year goes to... Liam Walsh vs Paul Appleby (nominees Bellew vs Cleverly, Crolla vs Matthews and Qato vs Hainy)

    Lets be honest if Ricky burns doesn't win fighter of the year it's totally rigged IMHO. He's by far the most improved fighter in the uk and is continuing to improve,

    Burns is decent but he's nowhere near Froch's league.

    The Bute fight alone > Burns entire career

    Burns is a bum basher, maybe if he steps up past domestic class he'll win next year
