    Can't stand Saunders anymore....

Did the right thing when exposing Wilder and his racist comments when he was in the UK, but then goes and does something stupid like offering crack to a woman on the street.

Hopefully BJS and Wilder lose their titles in the coming months.

I thought it was only banned in competition in the UK but it's not allowed in the US. I'd like someone to clarify this for me with sources.

I suspect it's a commercial decision, VADA are able to provide cross border testing rather than having 2 different agencies, UKAD and whoever Massachusetts use?

This incident does point to the desirability of having one agreed set of standards. Not sure why VADA don't conform to WADA because I thought the whole point of the latter was to introduce a level playing field.

See @Robney this is confusing to me. I'm getting all kinds of different information. Someone needs to clarify this with sources.

The espn article states its banned in and out of competition in the VADA rules.

which obviously makes sense, if that wasn't the case we wouldn't be even talking about this. VADA have stated he has failed a test. If it was allowed under there rules he would of passed the test.

so your right mate from all I've read its only the British board and UKAD who allow it until fight night.

And WADA who set the agreed global prohibition list that UKAD and the Massachusetts boxing commision follow.

It's vada who are out of sync with everyone here

So the fight will be cancelled most likely if this is true. I'll have to dig up the source myself.

I'm interested to see what VADA has to say and how much he tested for. This whole thing is a confusing mess.

Yes it's a right dogs breakfast as they say in the uk... My guess is that he Massachusetts board will follow WADA list and ok the fight, otherwise there's a lawsuit heading their way.

I think eddie Hearn may be twisting the knife in franks side with his comments for the sake of mischief, I doubt there's any serious threat to the fight going ahead. Although Eddie is right to stick up for his guys interests obviously.

I hope from this there's a move towards one agreed standard in boxing at least. Also interesting to wonder where espn got its scoop from and if the parties leaking knowledge of adverse findings and those reporting said findings as failing a test are acting in the best interests of the sport. Much as I dislike the way he conducts himself, I think BJS has been hung out to dry a little in this incident.
