    Apparently Froch had to beat Jermain Taylor and Ward had to beat Sakio Bika as part of the tournment.

    I suppose we should be grateful that they even do an article but stuff like this pisses me off as it shows they have got the tea boy to do the article rather than someone who actually follows the sport. Either that or someone just cocked up but I think the former is more likely.

    Anyways here is the article.

    We all make mistakes but I can't believe the person that wrote that really follows boxing in any detail.

    The man in your Avi would certainly do a better job!!!

    If Froch hadn't beaten Taylor there probably would never have been a tournament, HBO would have bagged Taylor and Froch would have been on the outer for quite some time.

    I like Froch because of the fights he takes but he is delusional. Handled Dirrell easily?

    BBC = full of ****.

    Fraudley harrison wipes his arse makes the front page headline, a big fight oversea's never get a mention.

    also a journeyman who no1's heard of or knows just passsed away and BBC for weird reason make it like the world of boxing is mourning.

    It's just bad. No excuses, none. Boxing remains the one sport that goes under the BBC radar - there would never be a sailing story or gymnastics story packed with similar errors.

    Adios.

    They turned down coverage of the World Amateur Championships too. They cannot stand boxing.

    That article simply stated who Froch and Ward beat (and lost to) on their way to the final. It was hardly the worst piece of boxing writing ever...
