The BBC have rejigged their British rankings pretty bloody sharpish following Hatton's loss.

They now have it Haye, Froch, Hatton.

Which is a little strong i think.

    What are your thoughts?

They've updated the world rankings and still have him 9th so that doesn't make much sense.

Well the BBC are thick as two planks when it comes to boxing. They also tend to get really caught up in the hype aftermath of a fighter grabbing a win. I remember when Froch beat Pascal they put him above Haye for a few days then came to their senses.

I sure as hell wouldn't put Froch in second.

i love the bbc rankings they are a great laugh. like u say, bizarre that hatton can be 9 in the world and 3 in the uk. should be number 2 at worst.
also i find it hilarious that john murray is at 7. no way should he be above khan - he has proved nothing above british level, whereas khan technically does have a win over barrera whether people like it or not. it was shabby win but his achievements and ability still see him comfortably above murray.
and in any case, jamie moore should prob be above both of them.

on a final point about it, surely matt skelton is more deserving than some of these names.
