It the late 1800's it was a concoction of brandy and strychnine. The first to die from that was a cyclists, talk about deep roots in doping. Strychnine was replaced with heroin to cocaine to caffeine until the 30's when amphetamines became available. Amphetamine use was so bad that there were many deaths and illnesses in the Olympics.

This led to the Russians using male hormones which spurred the Americans to develop steroids. We gotta compete right?

There sure is a long history of cheating at the highest levels dating back thru our human history.

Good stuff man, I didn't know that about the exact things they used back then. Brandy and strychnine- talk about a drink that'll really put hair on your chest..

That's what I'm inclined to believe now because I try to give the benefit of the doubt these days. If the athlete's not caught, I won't act as though they're guilty even if some red flags are there.

What I will say though, is that if I were Ward or Chambers, I'd tell Conte to kindly shut his damn mouth about this particular topic or else he'd lose me as a client. It raised enough eyebrows when it was discovered they hired Conte, and if Victor keeps going on about how easy it is to beat testing, all that's going to do is look even more suspicious. It might not be a huge story now- but let's say Chambers upsets Wlad. That Eddie hired Conte while Conte still publicly stands on his soapbox about how a blind ****** could pass boxing PED tests doesn't look good at all. Even if all parties are innocent, it's just bad publicity coming towards two guys I always rated as being pretty classy.
