To be fair, I think there is a realistic chance of Floyd fighting in the UK. He has visited a few times in recent years to test the water. I think the money Hatton made out of their fight has a role to play in that.
I wish people would quit talking about Mayweather fighting here. Him vs Hatton would have done 100k at either Wembley or Croke Park..... Khan wouldn't do anywhere near that. I guess Floyd kinda fuels it himself though, with his ''I love y'all'' talk and Craig Slater putting words in his mouth (when he's not fawning over him).
I don't think Floyd will ever fight over here but if he did at Wembley against Khan i'm fairly certain it would sell out
In Barney Eastwood's book 'Hooked on the Jab' - He said that they got Dave Boy McAuley a title shot against McKensie fairly smoothly as according to Eastwood they under rated McAuley.
:think I'm not convinced. I suppose it's up to someone to make him an offer. Golden Boy aren't exactly the most innovative promoters (to say the least) - I think if the money was right Bob Arum would put something on over here. He actually knows how to promote rather than just package TV deals. Would be great if we saw some of the world's best on these shores, Calzaghe could have had Hopkins over here in a rematch, we might see Froch vs someone here too. Maybe Barker vs Martinez II :hey
