Haye never even used it as an excuse. He just simply answered a post-fight question as to why he wasn't at his best. You'd all stay silent if you could barely walk would you? Check out some of these recent posts from David Haye himself on twitter: "Just saw Wlad's new video rubbing my face in it. It's actually quite funny. Well at least he didn't sound like Borat for once!!" "Wlad deserves some quality gloating. His silent pho-Toes video's a good start. Looking forward to him bringing the heat! Should be fun..."
Listen again or if you missed it... http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p00hmrns/The_BBC_London_Boxing_Hour_07_07_2011/ Edit: really good show this week Buncey
Was a good listen, Booth gave an honest and very interesting technical account. Would have liked Adam to answer why David kept throwing himself to the floor and whether that was an intention beforehand. I honestly think if he hadn't done this, hadn't raised his arms at the end and of hadn't course brought out the little toe, David wouldn't have been criticised so much. Also would like to know the thinking behind the ten minute delay. Did they really think would affect Klitschko?
This is a good interview of Booth uploaded by Griff...it explains the ten minute delay, nothing to do with mind games. I must admit that I don't understand why he is getting **** for raising his hand at the end....99% of all fighters do the same at the end of a bout and the other 1% want to but are just too tired. Thanks for making last night's show a particularly entertaining one. Big Liverpool preview next week - I might go for 8 voices. And thanks for uploading the listen again details. Adios.
