He said that he thought Munroe or Booth were going to be fighting Martinez for the European but the EBU have introduced a rule where you can't fight for the title when coming off a loss.
If Johanneson catches Sykes on those dodgy whiskers..... :hey Would be good to have it at Leeds Town Hall.
Frank werent happy regarding the Rendall situation, he lost on points after stepping up to world level against the divisions best guy and is not allowed to fight for the title he vacated! Sour grapes rule that from the EU board. So Martinez-Athur/Booth with Munroe fighting the winner is the plan which means Munroe waiting a good few months to get back to where he was initially dont quite seem right to me
Couldnt disagree more. Knowledgeable, concise, talks from experience without having an arrogance when doing so. Can come across as a tad dour perhaps but no on the whole he speaks alot of sense
Thanks again for all the support. The Jimmy Tibbs stuff was fantastic. All help accepted on posting details about where people can listen again - next week it is Tibbs part II, Kevin Mitchell, Bert Sugar and a few others. Here is the plan for the 'special' shows: 1. A fight night from the 80s or 90s. I get as many of the boxers, trainers, managers, promoters, fans, writers on to share their memories of the one night. 2. A single weight night to feature today's best, yesterday's best and tomorrow's best. 3. Strictly Forum - 100 percent interaction with the fans for the whole hour. Adios.
