I would put Vitali Klitschko in the top 10, IMO better fighter than his brother.

    Are you taking the ****?

Wlad is EASILY better than Vitali, who's entire career is built on a KO loss to Lewis :yep

The British list is even worse, Haye shouldn't be above Froch for starters.

Brook way too high based upon **** all too.

No, I am being deadly serious, if they ever fought (which I know they won't), I just think Vitali would wear Wlad down and win a late stoppage.

Judging Vitali on his last few fights, I'd doubt that to be honest.

Shite against domestic level Johnson and Sosnowski - not sure he'c cope with a top class heavyweight in his prime like Wlad.

Better jab, punches harder and more accurately with faster hands and footwork.

The two world class heavyweights Vitali faced he lost to, Wlad beat one of them twice, easily.

Vitali beat the one Wlad lost to (Ross Purity) :hey.

No but being serious, most of the time Wlad fights he uses his advantages well against smaller opposition i.e longer reach, being taller which means harder to hit.

If they ever fought those advantages would be taken away and Vitali has a good jab also and there would come a time in the fight where Vitali's right hand would test Wlad's chin.

    5 Martinez
    6 Williams
    7 Cotto
    8 Montiel

    10 JM Lopez

I hate p4p lists. I'm not happy at all with this one, but its the best I could do

The BBC one is obviously wank

You just named three fighters who don't really have more than one win each to start an argument about why they should be ranked.

I don't necessarily have a problem with ranking based on a little more of a body of evidence. Continuing to rank Hopkins and Mosley is stretching it though. Wladimir Klitschko is the most glaring ommision fwiw.

That's a pretty good list - it should take into account recent form as well as past performances.

Cotto is probably a bit high, it's the only beef you could really have. Like I said earlier, the top 3 are the top 3, the rest can be made up of any 7 of about 20.

Its a can of worms I know but Martinez has Cintron, Williams and Pavlik as wins in his last 3 fights. If you can only rank on what the judges give then fair enough (and thats probably right TBH) but to me he's 3-0 in those fights.

Cintron I think we can count as a win. He did knock him out. But then Cintron is not that good.

What was your scorecard for Williams/Martinez? That was a reasonably close fight that could legimately be scored for Williams. Most of the 'contraversy' came from the margin on one scorecard imo.

I only had Martinez by a round and I wouldn't scream robbery but thats a good set of performances from Sergio and better than a couple of the other guys in the top 10s results over the last year or so.

    (IMHO!!)

That's a head-2-head argument though. It doesn't work in reality.

Mark Johnston beats Fernando Montiel, Ivan Hernandez beats Mark Johnston, Fernando Montiel beats Ivan Hernandez.

Jermain Taylor beats Bernard Hopkins twice, Kelly Pavlik beats Jermain Taylor twice, Bernard Hopkins beats Kelly Pavlik with ease.

    And so on.......

I can see where you are coming from but thats my case on how I think the Vitali v Wlad would work out in theory.
