When you watch it you'll see that the Mob were choir boys in controlling the sport compared to todays equivilent The State Commissions
Kinahan versus Hutch feud has been described as a one-sided massacre. 18 kills to 4 in favor of Kinahan.
Kinahan versus Barry Mcguigan feud also appears to seems to be incredibly one-sided. 5 boxers have left Mcguigan to join MTK. Josh Taylor Carl Frampton Chantelle Cameron Who are the other two?
Well, that was a pointless show I must say. Nothing new disclosed, everything that was said has already been said. As far as investigative journalism goes, this was a really poor effort. I mean, I could have made a better documentary out of this after spending 1 hour on Twitter, Facebook and obviously the crown jewel, this forum. Sure, more people will be aware of what is going on behind the scenes but I don't think Kinahan reputation is any better or worse than what it already was.
I wonder if Barry McGuigan will face any backlash from you-know-who? It might be that MTK decide to really put it on him by poaching more of his fighter's. Or it might be something much worse. That's a real shame because Barry McGuigan is a good dude. I really hope Kinahan just kinda ignores it.
I see what you are saying, but State Commissions, as dubious and full of fraud as they are, are not involved in murder and other violent attacks like gangsters and cartels are. I would imagine if a boxer wants a favor from a State Commission, he has a to pay a bribe. If he doesn't pay, he doesn't get. With a gang or cartel, you don't have a choise. They might put a bullet in you or do something evil like send out a ****** to attack someone close to you.
Basically. If Hutchs people had gotten Kinahan that day at the weigh in, who knows how things would have worked out.
I highly doubt it because... Money. I think most people, from all walks of life, are happy to turn a blind eye when it comes to financial gain.
The show didn't mention which Kinahan was at the boxing weigh-in. Although, to be there at the time may have been frightening for some, those "hitmen" come across as amateurs with zero intel being provided to them at the time of the attack.
Beats me how they get away pointing the finger so hard on a TV show when the guy has no criminal record and there's no proof of his involvement in anything whatsoever. Not saying he's innocent but it can't be right making a show on 'hearsay'... whichever you look at it.
It was mentioned that Daniel Kinahan was there and he was the main target. They shot one of the Kinahan gang but Kinahan himself managed to escape. And yes, Im sure it ust have been terrifying for the reglar boxing folk there
I seen some of your comments on the other threads. There's is so much more I'd like to know; I was under the impression that the Kinahan's were winning the war. 18-4 is quite a big score, and a good few people with the Hutch surname on that tally. Why is Kinahan in self-imposed exile? Who controls Dublin, Ireland more out of the two factions? Does Kinahan have more power internationally? Are any of the two in bed with the cops? Snitches.
