I believe there are only 2 contenders Jenson Button or David Haye.

Lewis Hamilton in his first season when he was 2nd in the F1 World Championship was beaten by Calzaghe, and when he won the Championship he was beaten by a cyclist. Is Jenson Button more worthy?

Think of the personality of Haye first before his achievement. He has got everyone talking about boxing. My old mum said to me yesterday "I bet you are watching that boy fight that Goliath tonight?"

He got under the skin of both Klitchko's just like Ali did to Liston and Foreman.

It is no no brainer for me - Haye for Sport Personality of the year. Our sport 2 years out of 3, not bad for a sport which does not get its share of TV coverage.

I had to google her to work out who you were referring to. I do not doubt her achievements, but the sports personality of the year should not need to ge google'd

No offence but if you had to Google Ennis then you can't watch a great deal of sport.

She's a world champion, attractive and (most importantly) her achievements were televised on the BBC so they'll have all the highlight footage they want when it comes to the lead up to the program. What will they show of Haye?

    Yeh she is attactive..

She is well better than the moaning ass Kelly Southernton..

Who the BBC and selectors bum, just like they used to bum Craig Pickering.

One of my favourite decathletes was Dean Macey...!
