What the **** is Enzo doing above the man in his division... even before they fought. What the feck is Khan doing in there? No Gavin Rees? The guy at least has a belt.
Well Hayes number 1 as far as im concerned. Back to back wins over titlists and legit contenders when e could have taken the easier option at heavy earns the number 1 in my book.
Wtf is Haye doing below Maccarinelli even then. Haye shouldn't be number one btw. I like him alot but people that rag on Hattons win over Kostya Tsyzu could easily compare that with the victory over Mormeck as well. And Macarinelli never did beat great competition. That being said I rate him 3rd as of now. He's hot on Hattons heels and hes clearly above Witter.
He's #3 for me, for you to put him above Joe is ridiculous and shows you are a clear hater of Calzaghe.
He is no where near Calzaghe. Calzaghe's longetivity, better resume as of now and sheer awesome supernatural skill puts him head and shoulders above every other British fighter. Myself and Scurlaruntings are united in our appraisal of Hattons career...that its highly overrated. But to say Haye is above Calzaghe as of now is ludicrous.
I think the top 3 are irrefutably Haye, Calzaghe and Hatton. I think Joe then David then Ricky. Hayes recent run is amazing.
Mormeck was the number 1 Mac was at least number 2 or 3. Joe beat Kessler. But before that he was beating up Peter Manfredo. P4P rankings are about what you have done lately. Haye has faced 2 top class fighters in his division one being THE man. Joe has not. Haye at number 1 it is for me and Hayes done it in half as many fights as Joe.
You can make a case for Joes longevity but considering the quality of Hayes opposition in half as many fights as Joes and in such a short space of time il go with Haye. I like his attitude. His willingness to take on all comers and to prove his the best at his weight. No one can argue if he moves to heavy as the reality is his proven himself to be the best in his division. JC meanwhile took a decade to do the same.
1. Calzaghe 2. Haye 3. Hatton The BBC bought the hype like all the other broadcasters if they had Macca above Haye before the fight...WTF?
