I think Collins got their names confused. It would have made sense the other way round.

exspensive cuban cigars lit via burning a £100 note

macca wasnt a fav of course but he could beat haye it was always possible. warren thought that this is his chance to make the green. he had a man who was top 2 cruiser with a belt vs a guy who was draining alot to make wieght and had been dropped by mormeck in his last fight.

if you remember there wa sa big petition of fans who wanted th efight to happen due to warren callin git off.

well haye was going to move up in wieght had trouble against mormeck a faded champ you could say. so warren put the fight on.

it was a win win situation becuase haye isnt staying at cruiser and macca is and still top 5. there are goign to be 3 belts vacent between him and cunningham. wich can lead into another major show down.

and if macca did win haye was goign to go up in wiegh tand macca was goign to win all the belts.

it's either win or bigger win.:good this is the fwanky way

    Calzaghe
    Hatton
Haye (could well be #2 but Hatton has faced the better opponents by far)
    Witter
    Woods
    Rees
    Froch
    Macarinelli
    Khan
    Arthur

Mitchell just outside but could well replace Arthur and Enzo by the end of the year.

Anyone who has Haye at number 1 is talking out of their arse to be fair.

His also done it in what 20 or so fights? No bad for a guy who has the record of a prospect. It took Joe HOW long to do the same? Oo thats right a decade. A DECADE to UNIFY!

I'd put Haye at number 2 and Hatton down to 3.

Haye's only just become a world champ and had 2 titles far too soon to be ahead of Calzaghe and Calzaghe's the better fighter.

You are clearly in the minority and are a well documented Calzaghe and Hatton hater.

Calzaghe has proved himself over a long period of time 20+ defences UNDEFEATED (ie no knock out loss to an old shot Thompson).

Haye is number 2 for me with Hatton very close 3rd

Max after all these years your still riding Joes dick? In all the years that Joes been pro the 3 best names on his resume are Kessler (prime) Lacy (grossly overrated and green as grass) and an old Eubank! It took him 10 years to do that? Are you kidding? If you look at all the crap inbetween his ledger although impressive on paper is found to be wanting badly. No doubt he has a solid case as the number 1 but in my opinion so does Haye who has accomplished so much so quickly in devastating fashion.

I'd def put JC as number 1 then Haye and Hatton 2nd and 3rd in either order.

The Thompson loss was in Hayes 10th or so fight. Then Thompson was still ranked in the top 10 by the ring. Meanwhile at the same stage JC was busy fighting area level comp.

Now if we are going to go down the route of dissecting resumes 20 defences aside its massively apparent that Joes resume is woeful. In a 10 year span his best opponents were Kessler Lacy and Eubank? Call it what you will theres a case for both. The P4P rankings are mythical and have numerous criteria. Longevity is one.But there also about what you have done lately and the STRENGTH of your accomplishments. Numerous defences of the WBO is immaterial as far as im concerned. Artur Grigorian did the same with multiple defences of his title against non descript opponents. Im pretty sure no one here is calling him a great fighter or even remembers him for that matter.

Is that the best you could come with? Is your brain really that small and undeveloped? How long have you been watching boxing?

Was you commending Joe when he was facing beans like Kevin Mcyntyre. did you think it was ok when he faced Pudwill and Jiminez too? Or are you one of these new fans that simply repeat what he reads and jumps on anything new?
