I've had enough of crap judging. It used to be a German and American thing. Now we have British men being robbed of their rightful victories by bent judges lining their own pockets.
What I'm proposing is that we devise a way to keep a tally I'm British judges beginning from the new year.
Unless people can think of a better system I'm pretty much thinking
Sense of justice can be based from the average winner concluded by posters on here who do rbr scoring in the boxing. If 5/6 users think a fighter won then we agree that fighter won.
So if judge A+B+C all agree, 1 point each
    If a+B agree and C doesn't 1.5 points each
If A is the only judge who gets it right then they get 3 points. What I haven't figured is how to penalize a judge for poor performance, would having low points by the end if the year be enough or should there be a mark on there name for absolute corruption?

This might be a lot to digest, but I think that we the people, are the only hope to do something about this. I will be using here but attacking the people that matter with information on more popular platforms.
My Twitter and fb page aren't that popular at all yet and was going to do threads based on fighter/prospect/knock out of the year like you get on fight night but would rather do something no one else is yet.

The BBBoC will take absolutely 0 notice of us, sadly.

It wasn't just a German or American thing, British judging has been bad as long as I watch boxing. For example, the term "British stoppage" is used worldwide for a reason.
It was just that Brits and Americans pointed their fingers towards Germany (where it was really bad in the 90's) to deflect attention.

Whatever you come up with, it probably doesn't work. As long as promoters, alphabets, bookies, casino's and state/national commisions profit from it, it will never change.

I know British judging hasn't been good for a while, but how much has anyone tried to do about it?

You need to get publicity. Every now and again a bad decision will lead to a review. But you also need to understand often it is a human judgement not a right or wrong thing.

Places like this can do the job of calling out terrible decisions. It may seem small and to a degree meaningless, but it is a first step, and as Mao is alleged to have said... ;)

Should make a system for it in Boxrec. Maybe every time a decision has been officially contested it’s highlighted

Why would officials contest their own decision?

I was the judge who scored that fight even but I think fighter A was robbed, I am going to contest this! ;)

Not the official but the boxer contested it and it was upheld. For instance Ryder and his team officially contested the decision against Smith last week. If that is upheld that should go on a judges record.

Call me cynical, but that will just lead to every management protesting any card that goes against their fighter.

And who would decide to uphold or dismiss these decisions? Do they get judged too? And if not, who is to say they are going to be beyond reproach?!

All great points I love the idea of marking it on boxrec but as you said who would officiate this? Us, the people. It only has to be a bit of fun at first;)

This site is observed, it is one of (many) voices that dictate the direction of, in particular, British boxing.

The Super Series uses the 4th judge and the count back method for draws, but it's still useless as they would never be activated in the Smith / Ryder bout. The problem of bad / biased judging cannot be fixed while the promoter has final say on who will not judge or referee. The promotion is the problem.

The governing bodies already review these decisions and the process is already in place. Only thing that would change is it being recorded for public use.

Well that is alright then, we can all trust an alphabet organization!

The disinfectant is us, the fans, we should scream and shout on forums like this, in the hope it gets mainstream traction.
