    Round 3

McIntyre is struggling to get past the jab of Summers. Very smart boxing by the challenger, bending his front knee to level-change, sticking the jab into the midsection and then straightening up and resetting outside. McIntyre warned for something, missed what, holding or low blow? Summers nailing McIntyre with two-pieces from long distance. McIntyre forced to jump in flurrying and hold to stall and clear the cobwebs. Summers counters a lazy jab with an overhand right only to get his arm snared and pinned down - the jab was a trap. Summers gets right back outside on the break and picks off McIntyre on the way in with jabs and long thoughtfully placed body shots.

    10-9 Summers

I think the commentators have it a clean sweep for Summers, certainly they've given him the last two.

    Round 4

McIntyre is starting to get inside the chest of Summer and pumping out punches in multiples on an incline. Summers backing up but not looking terribly hurt, although McIntyre has the crowd amped up. McIntyre is feinting an uppercut and instead whipping the right hand up and over to hit Summers in the side of the head. McIntyre approaching with twitchy side to side movement, palm-slapping down at Summers' jab when he deigns to fire it. Summers doing a lot more cautious watching now, though, and shelling up against the ropes as McIntyre throws hooking combos to head and body.

    10-9 McIntyre

Not a lot of power to be found in there... eleven kayos between them in 47 combined bouts.

Both have however scored out-cold knockouts on occasion.

Summers landed 3 counter right hands in that round and left McIntyres nose bloodied and the commentators didn’t mention any of it???

    Round 5

McIntyre is jabbing in, drawing the glove up the side of his body from the hip like a pail up the well and then roping it out toward Summers' chin. Summers in nearly a Philly shell, circling out clockwise and counter-, switching every few steps, popping counter right hands or just beating McIntyre to the punch in the jabbing duel, still with the better aim and longer reach combining favorably for him. They exchange jabs in the middle of the ring and McIntyre begins to surge with big hooks around the guard.

    10-9 Summers, extremely close

Alright, no regrets, this is definitely a better watch than Parzęczewski vs. Lawal would have been, I'm sure. :deal:

(now had it been the Nigerian-German from like 7-8 years ago, maybe not, but...)

    Round 6

McIntyre is being kept at bay with the Summers jab, taking off from its aircraft carrier perch on his belt. McIntyre stepping in with his goal posts up and scraping in with hooking flurries, sometimes pushing Summers into the corner and forcing him to grapple, but Summers always manages to step back and score a sharp right hand to slow him down. McIntyre keeps nudging in with his jab, but can't get it cleanly on Summers' chin without the left arm of Summers rising up and disrupting.
