Be honest. How bias do you think the Super 6 has been?

    Well just to recap

    Ward fight 1 - Kessler

In Oakland, Ward gifted a technical decision from a headbutt he caused

    Froch fight 1 - Dirrell

In UK. Dirrell gave Froch problems with speed but held on to avoid being knocked out and rightfully deducted a point. Froch 114-113 if i rememeber correctly

    Ward fight 2 - Green

A replacement for Taylor after the Abraham KO. They could have used Johnson, Bika, Bute but no it had to be Allan ****ing Green. In Oakland. Shutout

    Froch fight 2 - Kessler

In Herning Denmark - Kessler rightfully won despite the whole volcano **** that was going on 115 - 113

    Ward Fight 3 - Bika

Replacement for Dirrell - Sakio Bika who was an outside of the tournament fight, not being given the same chance as glenn Johnson in case he caused an upset. he made the fight a lot closer than what the scorecards read. IN OAKLAND

    Froch fight 3 - Abraham
Supposed to be made in Uk but then gets switched to Europe. Froch dominates the fight

    Ward fight 4 - Abraham

Gets troubled in the first 3 rounds then takes control. wheres the fight? AMERICA!
    Froch fight 4 - Johnson

Kessler replacement. made to fight in the US despite having a large fan base in nottingham. one judge scored it a draw?

Froch has the ability to beat Ward but the main problem is that its in the US. its a US controlled fight. even if Froch pulls it off, hes getting robbed

Ward has been getting the simple treatment but the semi finals and finals were contracted to be held in the states.

    EXCELLENT unbiased analysis.:good

It was Ward and froch who specifically lobbied against Lucien Bute's being added as a replacement after he cleared contract with HBO. Showtime execs confirmed it was the threat of WARD pulling out because Interbox could not promote within the US, and Gossen refused to co-promote with Interbox should a Bute/Ward fight come to fruition. :-(

Ande as for Bika being a viable replacement instead of Green.......I thought Green was a good win for Ward, and Bika was a bum b/c Bute beat him worse than any other fighter had doneso in his career.

it's a showtime tournament.the money come mostly from US,they would have want to air american fighters at reasonable hours in US.that means make Ward fight Kessler in Denmark at 5am.Beside,everybody want to fight in US and make a name there,Froch have said that he want to move in US,Bute have said his dream in to fight in MSG,i doubt Kessler or Abraham would want to pass the opportunity to fight in US against their best fighter.don't forget we are talking about a tournament so even with a loss in US you still have the chance to go further
    same as 1
no.Ward already had 2 wins when Dirrell retired so he would have gone to semifinals anyway. He had a rather good opponent for his nontitle bout in Bika so nothing to complain here.
the final was to happen in US no matter who was in it.The fact that they have an american in it is an even more argument to be held in US,same as 1
i have no ideea cause i don't know the facts. But if that fight would have happen outside michigan or at least ny/nj yes

if you don't look from a fanboy point of view i'd say no to all.but i prefer to look from a fanboy point of view and say that fraud had it easy so far.and the fact that he was allowed to use headbutts and excessive holding against Kessler without taking even a warning doesn't help his cause,it look like a tournament made for Ward.

LOL, this is quite all funny TBH, This is the way the tourney was set up and Froch did not have to enter if he did not like the set-up or could have tried to influence the structure before it started.

All this bitching and moaning reminds me of whenever a fighter agrees to unfavourable terms going into a fight and all his fans cry or the haters protest after the fact.

bailey you know more than anyone else that these things are all about the economics. The way the world is going soon all major fight will be held out of china soon

i liked most of the fights, but being called the super 6 does not suit the realaty. it was not the 6 best fighters in there. even if all where aware of locations and apponents, it is still clear that some advantege was given to ward.

    Ward by ud.

ward has been beating everyone with ease. if you saw the froch-dirrell fight, you can see why no one wants to go to england to fight. corrupt ref and judging. with that said, froch is a beast. love watching that guy fight.

believe me, in the US (unlike the UK), if a fighter gets robbed the fans will be outraged for that fighter no matter where they are from. see holy-lewis I, sharkey-schmeling 2, & more recently williams-lara.

The super 6 started with good intentions, but it's become a bit of a joke with all these withdrawals and other horse****. I hope Froch upsets the applecart and knocks the overrated Ward out cold. It's a possibility because something tells me Ward might be hiding some china in that mandible.

To be fair, early on, the tournament was biased towards those who have lost, and are now completely out of the tournament.
In the beginning, there were those who actually had the false hope that Author Abraham, Froch and Kessler were the tournament favorites. Well, 1 out of three ain't bad.

As AA got schooled, and Kessler exposed, the favorites shifted even by those who originally had not a clue.
As expected, the cream rose to the top and now we have the two best the tournament has to offer, Ward and Froch with a lot of hope that Dirrell, the tournament's best talent will return and take his rightful place as a SMW top tier elite.

As far as travel goes, I don't much care where they choose to fight, as long as it's not England, Germany or Denmark.

Froch did lose the fight! He was a beneficiary of the Global Boxing Community.

Things have lined up nicely for Ward, that's for sure.

But he wasn't a favorite going in, not many people gave him a chance against Kessler.

I don't know how he got the bargaining power to not have to travel out of the US initially. It's not like he has big drawing power or anything.

There are a lot of circumstantial things like Taylor and Dirrell dropping out.

The final, being in AC, will not be all that in favor of Ward. It's not like they are billing it as the US vs the UK.
