Be honest. How bias do you think the Super 6 has been?

Green was Taylor's replacement because both are Dibella's fighters and no it is not a good win. green has never beat a top 10 opponent at mw or smw.

What decision was that? Even Boxing News and The Ring mag felt Froch beat Dirrell and remember Froch outlanded Dirrell :D.
If you want to look at home town, look at how Kessler was treated in Wards hometown. Kessler was warned about head use :patsch. Forget that *****?

    Meh, these replacements...

Green - lost a war to Miranda in which he got floored twice in 2007, declined a purse for a Bute fight that was 2-3X the one he got vs Rubin Williams on ESPN's FNF. ESPN ended up showing Green vs Williams and passing on Bute-Joppy which was a fairly good boxing match until R9-R10 where Bute turned it up a notch (e.g. completely one-sided). Ward fought Green in June 2010, after Bute-Miranda had taken place (April). Miranda outworks Green to a UD, Bute knocks the daylights out of Miranda with an uppercut, Ward wrestles Green to a UD.

Bika - fought Ward in Nov 2010, right after Bute fought his mandatory - Brinkley. Bika had just pulled some Abraham on Mendy for a DQ when he was invited to fight Ward. Bika's last actual loss was to Bute in June 2007 in which he won 1, arguably 2 rounds. He did win 3, arguably 4 rounds against Ward but the scorecards did not reflect that.

Johnson - depending on who you ask on here, it's either a legit contestant brought into the tourney's 'US' team that looked in good shape, tough as nails and well rounded as usual at a weight he said wasn't an issue...... or it's an old past it pressure fighter that everybody and their dog figured out. Regardless of how you see him, he gave Froch a tough fight in the S6 semis (that version of GJ would have beaten the Taylor who faced Abraham) scoring big right hands and left hooks on a Froch covering up on the back foot in rounds 7 & 8, extending to half of the 9th as well.

Yes it was a nice replacement for team Ward, getting to fight a fighter who had lost to E Miranda.
Ward never in the whole contest had to fight an undefeated fighter, whilst Froch, Dirrell, Taylor and Kessler all had to.
Ward got to fight Kessler which was a good win for Ward, just shame about how it was achieved, then got to fight Green who we note and Abraham coming off of 2 clear S6 defeats :nut.
In the time between he was given a tough fight by Bika who was beaten clearer by Calzaghe and Bute, only for some very odd scorecards of 120-108 :patsch

Bias no. Since Froch is in the final because of the Kessler injury, he should swallow his pill, stop barking and fight.

    You have missed the point.
Ward has never had any upheaval like Froch.
Yes Froch lost to Kessler but Froch had all the problems getting to the fight due to the ash cloud. Froch thought the fight had fallen through twice and stopped training, then found he was going to be taken to the fight by private jet a couple of days before the fight where he then had to have a long journey by car, then fulfill press duties. So his training was badly disrupted. This is the trouble when you have to travel and there are problems.
It is alot different to being at home without those issues. The one time Ward has had to travel (in his own country) for the tournament he has wanted a delay

It has been a disaster, and the fact Bute was not in it, makes it meaningless.

Froch is the road warrior , if Ward thinks he can get away with sneaky forehead leads on the refs blind side he'll get them repaid back with interest.

Froch is gonna **** him up.

You're wasting your time mate.Froch is either ducking Bute because he hasn't signed up to fight him(despite being contractually obliged to finish S6:patsch) or the tournament means nothing because Bute isn't involved.
There are Bute fans whose conduct is excellent and have informed and measured debate but there is also a hit squad who hunt you down even if,like me,you rate the guy.
SOME Ward fans have a habit of presenting opinion and dressing it up as fact, shooting down any chance of debate even though there are many Froch fans who know he really has his work cut out for him.
It was a good, thought provoking thread raising issues I hadn't considered.
