be honest, how many of you thought pac vs may would never happen?

I started watching Mayweather fights around 2009 to see Pac's future competition at welterweight. When I was sure the fight would never happen I stopped watching Mayweather, because he bores me. The last fight of his I saw was against Cotto. I was completely shocked when I heard the announcement.

I was just as sure this fight would never happen as I was that Pac would knock Marquez out, Donaire would dominate Rigondeaux, Cotto had no chance against Martinez, Stiverne would expose Wilder, or Klitschko would easily dispose of Brewster. The surprises keep coming.

 

Me....glad its going down though.

I was confident back in 2012 that it would happen. Floyd seemed all in. Manny and Arum were reluctant and I still don't understand why.

After that I was pretty much, "if it happens GREAT, if not OH WELL DON'T CARE."

But with both sides negotiating for so long I thought it either happens now or it won't ever happen. Arum running his mouth to the media was killing my confidence. Floyd's meeting with Pac helped me gain confidence. And here we are.

 

i wait until fight night.

 

I was losing my hopes until the two met in Miami.

 

I thought it would be the last fight of mayweathers showtime deal. When they both were with hbo I thought it was gonna happen

 

Hopefully there's no day of the fight bs like he can't wear those gloves
