For all those people who bet big on Dela Hoya, or bet on Pacquiao..

I wanna ask how much money did you win/lose?

    Just curious? :think

Boxing is the worst sport to gamble on. It's a two horse race and the potential for upset is at a maximum and reflected in dismal odds. I never do it.

A dude here said he bet $500 on Pac.

I'm guessing he won something like $1000 or something like that?

Many Filipinos bet on Oscar to win, last weekend.

Still supporting Pac, and hoping for a Pac upset victory, but guessing that DLH's just too big for him.

I BACKED oscar by KO $150 at $2.30.

i layed oscar to win on pionts, 100 at $4.

so all up i was only 50 down, i thought if it went the distance pacman could have got it, i never thought it would end by ko to pacman

i saw pacman pay $10.40 for a stoppage win.

I bet fifty thousand dollars on a draw. The odds were great, what can I say? I'd rather take the shot and at least have a chance to be rich. I'm like a legend in that respect.

    But now I'm broke as ****. =(

I didnt bet any money. It was too risky.
Just an ESB avatar bet against UliUli.

And yes, it was nuts here, especially the people watching the fight live on closed circuit cinemas.

I'll post a YT vid if I find a good one.

But the free TV coverage sucked donkey balls.

The coverage started 10AM Sunday morning, and it ended around past 3PM.

Ads lasted 5 minutes straight! :patsch

Pac entering the ring.. cut to 5 min. commercial.

    Oscar entering.. 5 minute ad

    Each national anthem.. 5 minutes

    fight intros.. 5 minutes

After every rtound.. 5 minute break

You lose momentum watching the fight, it was so slow.

Good stuff (except for the ads, of course).... Must have made Atlantic City during a prime Gatti fight look like a ghost town. Wish I could have seen the atmosphere.

Radio coverage was really live, though.

People knew who won by lunchtime.

But you still wanna see the fight on TV.
