Sometimes in order to be make a proper assessment in boxing you need to just be a fan or the sport, and not any fighter for a moment.

Using the you're only as good as your last fight theory Roach has to have concerns about putting his guy in with Floyd.

Whether you say Manny had cramps, or was getting old, he didn't look as good as he was SUPPOSED to look against Mosley, and his movement was slacking, and his whole fighting style is based around being mobile. If Manny really had cramps, and Mosley had blisters I say that equals their excuses out, and makes it an even playing field.

    Proof (my version at least)

Taking The Marquez fight at a higher weight to give his fighter an advantage, because he is unsure how much Manny has in the tank.

Roach admitting after all this time he still would have to use Mayweather vs Oritiz fight to draw up a game plan for Floyd, so he's saying he never had a real game plan for Floyd!

Claiming Mayweather will never fight Manny even after Floyd went outside of himself to call Manny out which is not common. Roach must feel that Mayweather see's something in Manny he can exploit.

Now things can change if Manny happens to look dominate against Marquez, and Floyd looks exposed against Ortiz, then you will hear Roach say something like this:

"We will knock Floyd out in 6"

If Floyd looks good, and Manny looks old you will hear something like this:

" We are not gonna let Floyd dictate terms, we don't need him"

just be honest for a second, If floyd feels old, he will take on Khan instead of Pac himself, just be a fan of the sport for 1 second and stop being bias, both guys are feeling each other out.

what we do know is.....before floyd last fight....roach said "floyd has to get on his bike to win...he cant stand and trade"....and then after the fight, when floyd does the exact opposite of what he said, he changes his tune...."uhhh ummmm well uhhhh floyds legs are gone"

basically the book freddie thought he had on floyd was thrown out the window....floyd basically showed he can still fight if he wants to....almost like he did as a statement.....

of course roach is nervous....he doesnt know what floyd will show up now..

but then again....his contradctions are numerous

"we think floyd wants the fight"...."floyd wont fight manny"

"well knock him out easily"...."we need alot of time to prepare for that fight against a great fighter....we need to fight the perfect fight"

Roach is a proffessional, I am sure he has his set of nerves as any trainer would but lets be real if he is scared of Mayweather they have no business fighting him... I dont think he is afraid honestly Roach does have enough knowledge in that brain of his to crack the puzzle, its up to Manny to execute...

I agree with everything but this. They always want an advantage and would ask for it no matter how Manny looked

All I know is if Oscar had kept listening to Freddie in his fight with Floyd, he would have won!

So maybe he has Floyds number after all!

ya its just that easy...if oscar just kept jabbing...if zab had just been able to keep up what he was doing in the first 4 rounds...if shane had just kept throwing and hadnt been tied up by floyd, textbook style, he coulda followed up that bomb

its just that easy....because a healthy 154lb oscar is the same as a 147lb oscar that hadnt fought that low in like 7 years

Funny how you and the rest of the Pachaters were saying that Pac was ducking him when he chosed Mosley instead of JMM.

a rematch against DLH would have been risky for Floyd.

i, personally, have never said that....

might have said mosley is a **** fight and he had no business fighting mosley...but i dont think ive ever said he was ducking jmm...cause i havent wanted to see a third fight with jmm for some time now...way over the expiration date for me....and not worth it at 144(remember you floydhaters saying that jmm cant carry his skills north of 135)??

The same **** can be said regarding Uncle Roger and Floyd Sr and Ellebres gay ass...
I mean lets be real even though I think Floyd will take this fight, Floyd Mayweather Jr has never faced someone on the level of a Manny Pacquiao... and visa versa....
both camps could be scared... but this is their jobs they have been doing this for a very long time....

Hell no. This is the type of fight that great trainers live for. This is the kind of fight that makes legends of trainers and fighters.
