Bearded boxers fight to be allowed beards

I should of boxed on that show at bolton lads club and because he had a beard about 5inch long he wasnt allowed to box and his opponent then fought my opponent and i got shafted.
This happend last year and its onli just bin put in local paper 2weeks ago.
It made front page and all the boxers who was competing in championships got a little write up in back page.

 

A young kid from our club wasnt allowed to box cos he had a coldsore it was his first fight aswell he was devastated

Is it only certain groups of Muslims that have to grow beards? The reason I ask is that I can think of several clean shaven Muslims Amir Khan and Naseem Hamed are two that spring to mind

I've seen loads of Muslims without beards.
Most Sikhs have beards & tubans so I can see how that could be a problem.
