Does not harry greb have the best winning record vs champs and ex champs ever ?, guy battered gene tunney to pieces in there first fight, and he was in bed for weeks recovering, and while we have no footage of greb fighting, we have tunney who ali loved and said was an early verison of himself, and yet greb ran riot over him in there first fight, he fought over 303 times, and had 260 odd wins with 48 kos, he fought 37 times in one ****ing year.

He beat the legendary Mickey Walker, gene tunney, Battling Levinsky, Jack Dillon, Willie Meehan (who beat jack dempsey), Mike McTigue, Gunboat Smith, Billy Miske, Bill Brennan, Tommy Loughran (another great fighter), Tiger Flowers (one hell of a fighter who was black, mickey unlike some fought any one), and the list goes on and on

"His official career record was 106 wins and 8 losses with 3 draws, but including newspaper decision wins brings his tally to about 260 wins in around 300 fights. Some boxing historians consider Greb the greatest middleweight in history (he is also considered one of the 10 or 20 best light heavyweights of all-time, despite being a natural 160-pounder)."

And to think there is just some crappy footage on youtube of him mucking about and THATS IT, not one fight is left to watch, hell there must be some somewhere, some of the mickey walker fights (they had 4) were filmed, and were very big occasions back then

And the most amazing thing was later on it was shown he had for a good part of his career been ****ing blind in one eye, the poor guy died aged just 32 from a routine operation to his nose and respiratory tract caused by his ring career and several car crashes. However, complications occurred and he died on October 22, 1926, never waking up from the anesthetic.

For me he may have been the greatest fighter in history, he was said to fight like a human whirlwind, and had stamina that never ran down, he was an animal in the ring, and only really lacked a killer KO punch, though he did have 48 KOs, the guy was amazing

 

They only fought once mate and Greb spanked him. Doubt Walker wanted anymore of him after that.
