Was rewatching Mcall vs Lewis again and was curious how often has a beatdown led to crying in the ring? I can only think of Arreola breaking down after Vitali dominated him. Please name some more.
It wasn't the beatdown that led to McCall crying, he was mentally ill, got pulled out of the clinic to rematch Lewis and he wasn't there. Guy used to cry his way to the ring, had a lot of problems.
it's a shame they pulled Mccall out of that lewis fight, they robbed Lewis of a legit KO victory which was on the way
It made no difference, McCall wasn't even trying to fight, he was in cloud cuckoo land and it would have been ridiculous not to pull him out, in fact it was quite ridiculous the fight went ahead in the first place. Still goes down on his KO stats and without the need to further decimate McCall's brain.
Again it wasn't the beatdown. Escobego had just had a kid and then was screwed about by Broner and Golden Boy who were put pressure on him to fight waving much needed cash in his face despite his opponent refusing to try to make weight and holding a further advantage in the fight. Guy had his head messed with for 24 hours and it caught up with him after the fight.
Tears are a common after effect of Adrenaline, anybody whos been around the game will have seen tears many times,it doesn't mean a fighter is a cry baby,or upset, its imply a release. Having said all of this, most of the clowns on this site have only ever seen boxers and boxing rings on HBO and Showtime.
Lewis Mccall II was a beatdown? :roflatsch how many shots did lewis land mccall?:roflatsch you didnt even watch the fight did u? Now Lewis Mccall I was a beatdown.
