PBF has got to beat proven welters to prove himself as an elite, TOP TEN ATG. he hasn't beat the best since his lightweight days

a quality win over cotto would cement his status as the best of his generation and one of the best of alltime

Cotto isn't a welterweight, Floyd isn't a welterweight either. Remember?, try harder please.
    Margarito maybe? :rofl

that is a stupid logic, both cotto and mayweather have grown fully into welterweight, i doubt either could go back down in weight without starving themselves, would you say bernard hopkins isn't a real light heavy?

arguello and carlos ortiz are considered atg, wtf did they ever do at 147 or 154? Both are about the same size as mayweather.

no hate from me. floyd is a great fighter, I just don't consider him a elite great fight yet (ie capable of being in the top 15 of all time). he has the potential to be one

    Judah? :rofl :rofl :rofl
And you pathetic fools make fun of Mayweather for beating Baldomir and Judah. At least the Judah Mayweather fought was a well prepared version, yes he was coming off a loss but was really prepared despite still running out of gas. He stunned Mayweather early but didn't get him to wobble the way Cotto did. Cotto just CAN'T take a good shot, I'd rather see Mayweather fight Margarito or Williams for a more competitive battle, not all 0 loss records should be overrated, as a boxing fan you should know that by now, if not, then the guys here will educate you.

If they consider Hatton a "blown-up" Welterweight then Mayweather is a "blown-up welterweight" too. I'm not a person that follows such bull**** logic, I'm just giving this guy a taste of his own medicine. We can also start another discussion about Ali being a "blown up Light Heavyweight" since he was a light heavyweight as an amateur, I'm just letting this guy know that THIS LOGIC(which both of us disagree with) is pure bull****. Sarcasm. :thumbsup

Oh boy how did i know this excuse was gonna come. Now lets look at your stupid thread.. You say "Beating a BLOWN UP Light Welter doesn't make you great" But going by your OWN WORDS then Mayweather is a BLOWN UP Welter too correct?? Yet you want a BLOWN UP Welter like Mayweather to fight Cotto who was a huge junior welterweight and now is a very solid welterweight?? You're a grade A DIP****! :good

Yes he did, it was a knockdown and should've been ruled properly. But in all honesty, do you believe Mayweather was off-balance or hurt?
Compare that knockdown with the way Cotto was hurt when Judah nailed him. Who looked more hurt, Floyd or Cotto?
