Floyd Mayweather is a future hall of famer, he beat a lot of great fighters no doubt, but if this guy wants to be considerded an elite with guys like SRR or Ali, he's going to have to do more in this division. But if he retires now, I would put a lot of fighters over him, and this is nothing against Floyd, he's a great fighter too.

He performed real good last night and against the best fighter in boxing today. As far as I know(and everyone else agreed with) Hatton didn't look not even 1% of how he looked against Mayweather, not in physical shape nor performance, don't forget that Collazo(unlike Mayweather) was way bigger and he was the one pushing Hatton around with the size advantage from time to time. Fact is, he DID fight at Welterweight before, if it was his first fight then I'll try to agree with you but even he admitted that he was big and strong but got "caught" and was outclassed. I didn't see any HUGE size difference there like I did when Mayweather stepped in the ring with DLH. I don't give a **** about all the excuses, as far as I'm concerned they mean absolutely NOTHING while discussing this fight because all the excuses seem to go out the window with facts throwing them there. This fight could've happend right after Gatti/Mayweather and Hatton/Maussa back at Light welterweight but Mayweather's offer was publicly and officially refused. Mayweather moved up and Hatton moved right there with him, Hatton went back down and Mayweather moved up again. If Mayweather never fought DLH at light middleweight and demanded a Welterweight fight then I can accept that excuse, but Mayweather CAN'T and WON'T move 2 weight divisions below to make this fight, he already tried to make it happen when both were there and coming off good victories(Hatton's victory WAY more impressive of course) but it didn't happen. The way the fight happened was fair and if Hatton didn't belong there then he shouldn't have called Mayweather out, especially when Mayweather said he's retired, it's the taunts from team Hatton that made this fight happen, which again proves that Mayweather DID INDEED want it when both were at the same weight, coming out of retirement to accept a challenge he already made before is enough proof. Once again I'll repeat, the fight was made at the right weight, if Hatton knew he was going to be rubbish at the weight he wouldn't have taken it and his performance was HARDLY rubbish, if anything he was giving Mayweather hell in there with all the pressure he put, a man who didn't belong there would've been outclassed the way Gatti and Baldomir were.

He didn't wobble him, I've seen the fight more than you have(judging by your comment), he stunned him and got Floyd to move backwards for a sec. That's called being stunned, going "jelly legged" like Cotto did when Judah cracked him defines "Wobbled". Watch them again please, Floyd's legs were fine and never had such problems, it's Cotto who always wobbles when he takes a good shot. Watch both again please and answer the question I asked you.

dont get me wrong, floyd beats hatton at any weight, living in britain with so many hatton nuthuggers you learn to hate him, hatton has never fought a prime fighter.

    jelly legged?

cotto might have been 'jelly legged' against corley but against judah he was moving his head and started trading as soon as he got hurt.
