"Beating Floyd is good for boxing. When athletes have great success, their success goes to their head. That is bad for boxing. I'm here to prove that I can easily beat the undefeated. My footwork and hand combinations will be my advantage. I tell you Cotto and Margarito punch hard. This is boxing and its about punches. I'm more worried about De La Hoya and Cotto than my fight with Floyd."

I'm confused, it sounds like he's saying it's bad for boxing when any boxer has great success. Hasn't Manny had great success? Anyway, I'm glad Pacquiao is confident. I want both guys to be at their best both physically and mentally.

I don't think beating Floyd is good or bad for boxing but that depends on who you ask.

PAC is saying that when you have success you should still be humble, not let it get to your head and become ignorant. If you become ignorant you should be taught a lesson like the one PAC is going to teach Healthweather.

This would be the third straight opponent that pac is fighting a guy with "0". Pac loves snatching those zeroes.

maybe because some successful fighters are already controlling the sport by avoiding established rules of fighting mandatories, playing fair and not dictating fight requirements, selecting opponents and dictating their purse splits, ensuring a greater chance of winning, etc

I somehow forgot about that. How cool would that be? They would have to give Pac a new nick name besides Pacman and the Mexicutioner. Probably like the Achilles Heel or Kryptonite or something.
