More crap from you as usual. Name the other top contenders and champs at 175 who would "molest" Calzaghe.
Name 5 men at 175 now, that then covers the champs and 3 contenders. One of the top contenders was recently thrashed by Hopkins so I cannot wait to see your list of men who would batter Calzaghe.

You are one of the most ignorant muppets on the entire forum. You have even admitted you are wrong to dismiss the likes of Eubank and yet because you such a bias ***** you can't help but come back a few weeks later spewing up the same banal shite.

Eubank, Woodhall, Mitchell and Reid were all world champions and in the case of Eubank a top top level champion.
Top level contenders below the elite line such as Veit are decent if not great wins and then you can add on Lacy and Kessler.

Miranda is the same level as a Mitchell, big punching champ but very flawed and not top level. Taylor was a genuine world champion and despite his gifts was a great win for Pavlik and that is it. He was fighting guys with losing records as recently as 2005 and only 18 months ago he was fighting the likes of Lenord Pierre a guy Duddy starched on 1 round and who was also KO'd the fight before he took on Pavlik.

Pavlik has two names of note on his record and one of those is a guy who is not on a level with Woodhall, Reid or Lacy let alone Eubank and Kessler.

You have to consider how Kelly was starching his opponents. He was KOing guys who've never seen the canvas. Also, go back and look at the combined record and KO% of his opponents. Those are not shabby numbers.

Face the facts! A southpaw's worst enemy is a pavlikesque right hand, and Joe is just not that hard to hit. Joe has absolutley nothing in his arsenal to make Pavlik back up or stop throwing punches. It's quite the other way around. Pavlik would cut Joe's work rate WAY Down, and keep him on his back foot all night. Pavlik KO10 Calzaghe.

Don't even waste your time trying to convince that guy with a reasonable explanation, jsimps. He's simply too damn smart to get anything into that drunken skull of his.

They prob think Kelly will be like some fat slob @ 175. He'd be a monster at that weight. If he can KO guys when he's a stick-figure @ 160, just image the pop he'll generate @ 175.:think

Like I"ve said before, JC vs KP would be nothing more than slap, slap slap & then

And just like that, Calzaghe career would be OVAH!:deal

Kelly has a sick workout routine. He gets up to 175 and it will be mostly all power.

Man you guys grossly underestimate Pavlik. Is it likely that he beats Joe, probably not, but if you think this is a walk in the park you are sadly mistaken.

And yeah Joe has a very good chin but I wouldn't put it past Pavlik to drop him.

This is a pretty inteligent post. If they fight any time in the next year I would take Pavlik by KO, but if it went the distance, Joe would probably win a close UD. If it happened more than 1 year form now, Pavlik bests Calzaghe either way.

Did I hurt your feelings didums?

I have repeatedly said that I like and rate Pavlik. He is an honest, exciting fighter who wants to test himself and he is good for boxing.

That doesn't mean I have to be delusional or lie about who he has faced. Name the top 5 men on his resume and tell me what makes them good opponents. I can't wait to see what happens once you get past Taylor and Miranda.

I criticised my own favourite fighter (Hatton) for a long time for who he had fought, but his resume was still far better in terms of the number of good or decent fighters on it.

Pavlik may well go on to do very well, but he is open and he is wide when he attacks. It is hardly being a hater to say that Calzaghe and Kessler would beat him convincingly.

This is the difference between someone like me who is objective and honest about a fighter, and someone like you who blows smoke up the arse of anyone who you like and that anyone will be white, and with some eastern european link.
