How about some fights that should have been stopped earlier?

    Chacon/Limon IV and Chacon/Boza II

He won both, but he is badly punch drunk now.

Donald Curry never really recovered to A+ from the Lloyd Honeygan fight.

From that point on he was regarded as "beatable".

David Reid after Tito was a mess. The guy had real talent too.

Happy 25th Anniversary to Tyson-Ruddock II by the way.

Anyone remember Kid Akeem? Slipped into a coma following his war with Robert Quiroga. His team supposedly found some yayo tucked into his boots after he was revived.

Also Kid Vegas, forgot his name, had a nice tussle with Naseem Hamed. His chin was always suspect but his next outing he got wrecked by Michael Johnson within a minute of the 1st.

Edit: Augie "Kid vegas" Sanchez. He actually knocked out Luisito Espinosa before retiring after the KO loss to John Michael Johnson. Thanks Boxrec!!!

Shoot, I didn't know that. I wonder how long ago this happened?

    Edit: Well...here's the answer - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akeem_Anifowoshe

I think Pacquiao vs Rios should be in here. Pacquiao vs Rios was not even competitive and the last 5 rounds were a complete waste of everyone's time. Rios got hit with everything in the book. Post Pacman, Rios's offense has been at a stand still, physically he looks slower than usual (and he was never fast by any means) and has zero desire in there. His showing vs Bradley was terrible and rightly so, many people are telling him to retire. Don't forget Rios is a guy who had 200 plus amateur fights showed real heart and some counter punching ability with the right hand during brawls with Acosta, Alvarado and Antillon and held a world title. He can barely win a few rounds in a row now. His punch output went from volume to a trickle in the matter of a few fights. He stopped by Bradley from a bodypunch - vs Alvarado in the first he took huge punches round after after and was firing back.

Hagler vs Mugabi. Mugabi was the iron man, a stalker with total self belief that he can bomb out anyone. Trading with him in the pocket was a matter of time until you got KOed .His strength meant that he controlled center ring, inside he was never took a backward step and his was timing guys for his right hand. All that changed post Hagler. He didn't have that menacing aura and he looked very different. He could be easily backed up and his durability was always in question.

Rios looked good against the corpse of Alvarado after. The problem is, Rios was never very good as evidenced by the fight with Abril.

He beat Benitez after that and had very little to go on prior to the Duran fight. Reid at least had the medal to go w the belt before the Tito fight.
