I got so mad when the show started and there was no Rogan and Goldberg. I thought it was just the prelim stuff. As much as people hate to admit it, Goldie is the voice of UFC. He directs everything. It does have more of a professional feel and like a legitimate sport but it isn't. It's a combat sport, stop pushing so hard to emulate Football, its weird. And that bald guy on with Bonnar was the only one I really didn't like much. Thought he was expendable, I liked Bonnar a lot though.
I hear you, but I don't sweat the small stuff. The Fox Football theme is like a national anthem, an American tradition.. Cowboys @ 11 is what that tune means in these parts. That bald guy does suck, but too many of you are caught up in this rapping nonsense. Last night blew my expectations away.. Quality fighters and contest top to bottom.. Can't we just savor the moment? This are great times. We need a MEGAthread for these gossip columns.
Yeah, I'm not complaining about it really, I mean I understand, and after all it was their first show. And I guess Goldie/Rogan can't cover everything nowadays, particularly Rogan who has other **** in his life. It was very polished and professional, which I liked, its just a bit strange to see a combat sport try to be an actual sport. I still see a boundary between boxing/mma compared to football/baseball/tennis etc. They're more dormant yet have the potential to put on events bigger than the rest of them, but not full time. I mean when there's like special events like a Mayweather fight or a Brock fight. It gets a lot of people talking and takes the media by storm.
Don't see why, its not like they are putting 2 shows on at once. Goldberg, I don't see anywhere else so he should be free. When Rogan is out then bring in Florian etc There are also some big gaps. March to April is like a 4 week gap with no fights so they get time off too. Alot of shows on FX and Fox so its sad to see the face of the UFC be fractured ever so slightly.
