    (continued)

    now look at this

    people will continuously say Floyd ducked margarito…but Floyd fought baldomir instead…baldomir had just beat zab Judah who held the WBA IBF and WBC belts (margarito just had the WBO belt) Floyd had just fought Judah before that for the IBF belt (baldomir didn’t have it because he didn’t pay the fees for the WBA and IBF belt since it would’ve been more than he got for the fight against Judah) so if you want to be real about it…even tho baldomir didn’t have the belts he was the main guy to beat at welterweight at the time not margarito…people thought baldomirs win against Judah was a fluke…but baldomir KO’d gatti (who was the favorite in that fight and younger and faster than baldomir) then fought mayweather…so knowing that…was he really ducking margarito?!??! But then they said after the fight baldomir was too old and slow COME ON!!! Baldomir just beat zab who’s as fast as if not faster than Floyd with hand speed AND younger than Floyd…as well as gatti who was 3years younger than him (baldomir) and faster as well BUT people say he’s too old for Floyd but zab is younger.

    they say floyd's using blood testing to duck yet shane agreed to the testing and they fought and Ortiz agreed now they’re about to fight…nonito donaire has agreed to testing before and even said he’d fight Floyd for $40mil and no doubt agree to do testing again…and Andre ward is wanting to start doing the same thing saying he wants to be the 1st after mayweather to start doing the random testing…other fighters are asking for testing…other fighters are also agreeing…pacquiao says he supports it…but wont do it without a cutoff…and the last that it was talked about was by Konz who said “we agreed to everything except not within 7 days” and that’s not all the way to the fight.

    Yes they had a 18 day cutoff with mosley…thing is mosley and Floyd DIDN’T KNOW which is the main issue

    it rests only on USADA…they said they can stop 30days before or 30mins b4 the fight…once the fighters agree to submit to testing as many or as few tests as USADA wants to do (doing the same # of tests on each fighter) will be done as close to or as far from the fight as USADA wants with no input from the fighters and no knowledge whatsoever as to when the testing will stop until they get in the ring and the fight is over

    now looking at all that…and all those are facts…those are things that happened…nothing was made up and you all can look it up if you don't believe me.

    u gotta respect da man’s boxing skill man…I mean he get all this criticism…ppl sayin he ducked and his opponents weren’t good…but look at how his opponents were coming off good victories and people had them as the favorite in the fight but then Floyd beat the guys and people change their storys and all wanna hate on him and make up reasons why it was a bad fight (saying mosley would drop him but then say he’s too old and saying hatton would break him but then saying hatton was overrated and not at a comfy weight) and go with all the “Kentucky Floyd chicken” or “Floyd gayweather” n all that I mean we need to just leave the man alone and also stop givin pacquiao so much credit with how bad his last few opponents have been in terms of choice and fight quality…when’s the last time anyone wrote an article or anything about somebody going to give pacquiao trouble or a challenge? Id rather watch a person fight 1-2 times a yr against a GOOD fighter coming off a GOOD/IMPRESSIVE victory rather than a guy who’s active and fighting has beens

    It was easy to read, as I was remembering your citations while reading it, I didn't knew that Pac was bitching about the gloves in Morales I, nor socks in JMM I, given that its true, it seems to me that he is a bad loser.

    He also bitched about his early loses saying that he was forced to use heavier gloves than his opponent (maybe it's true, I wasn't there)

    the thing about heavier gloves was a penalty he had for being overweight for the fight

    All you need to know is:

    Pacquiao's opponents -

    @140
    Hatton
    (notable fighters he didn't fight - Bradley)

    @147+
    De La Hoya
    Cotto
    Clottey
    Margarito
    Mosley
    Marquez
    (notable fighters he didn't fight - Mayweather, Mosley, Berto)

    Mayweather's opponents:

    @140
    Corley
    Bruseles
    Gatti
    (notable fighters he didn't fight - Tszyu, Hatton, Cotto)

    @147+
    Mitchell
    Judah
    Baldomir
    De La Hoya
    Hatton
    Marquez
    Mosley
    Ortiz
    (notable fighters he didn't fight - Margarito, Cotto, Pacquiao, Paul Williams)

    People can take whatever they want from those lists. What I take from them is Pac fought everyone he should have from 140-147, and at welter fought mostly established top welters, except for Mayweather and Bradley, Berto. It looks like he avoided the black fighters, but the truth is Bradley and Berto weren't all that proven and he had bigger fish to fry. You could say he ducked Mosley, but when he fought a guy like Cotto instead, who had a win over Mosley, it's not much of a duck

    Whereas Mayweather didn't fight the established guys he should have from 140-147, and has 4 guys on his list at welter who were either moving up or had only one fight there. He badly needs to fight Pac next to redeem some credibility. If he fights Khan next, that will be the 5th guy he'd fight at welter with 1 or less fights there, how embarrassing will that look? Especially when you look at the guys he didn't fight.

    Some of those fights were just useless. I mean, you take away Baldomir, Marquez and Ortiz and add Margarito, Cotto and Pac to go with Mosley and that's an ATG welter resume. But he's resume is nowhere near that status now, and it's his fault for taking the path of least resistence and trying to fool the public, fighting only for WBC belts because it's the most recognisable belt to casuals. i'm an admirer of his skill and ability, but what he's been doing is starting to look pathetic

    you can pass as a fighthype contributor and replace ben thompson. your piece, although you put some time on it, is pure bias and all one-sided account to big-up on floyd and bash on pac. i have seen so many points you omit, i don't know where to start.

    ok just an example, you are giving floyd much phrase for taking on jmm at a catchweight but you did not even mentioned that floyd cheated jmm of the scales. did you even know that?

    I'm not reading all of that right now. Is there a main point you're trying to get at?
