Right, I agree, You have nothing against Pacquiao and you're obviously not biased toward Mayweather!:rofl:rofl:rofl

good read man....and i thought id give you some feedback

    on this board...id fall into the "*****" category....i defend him...and i am a fan

to be completely honest....i dont hate pac....as ive said many times on this board...i went to see him fight hatton and cotto in vegas....awesome events and atmopsheres....hes fun to watch....

but i have to say it...i feel the need to defend floyd...because people are constantly demeaning what hes done in the sport...what hes accomplished....and who he fights.....all the while praising pac for basically the same ****(while pac has taken some shortcuts)...his fans claim hes one of the greatest ever....meanwhile floyd is a coward and a cherrypicker....mannys fans have forced floyd fans to go on the offensive when it comes to pac...they overstate his greatness and place in the sport pertaining to ATG status....and completely write off and disregard floyd

when i read these post i see blah, blah, blah, riding floyds dick then blah, blah, blah riding mannys dick.this is a dead issue the fight will never happen until both guys are old and over the hill and there is no more money to be made off of each of them.bottom line the two best boxers in the sport right now are scared of each other and that means both of them.i will be looking foward to manny vs floyd in 2016.

i really admire floyds talent in the ring,he is the best defensive fighter i have ever seen and maybe the best ever but he has ducked more fighters than manny.floyd might beat the same guys manny beats but manny destroys these opponents where as floyd just coast to easy safe u.d wins.and dont act like floyd fans dont overstate his greatness.

So how the **** do you add Paul Williams to PBF's list, but not Manny's? I mean it's dumb **** like this that ruins a good discussion. Manny could have just as easily taken on Williams as PBF, why did you do that?

A bit much...but when cats go out of their way to make a simple situation more complicated.... You gotta ask why? If you base your conclusion on this topic based on facts, you got a clear picture. Facts equal RESUMEs...who you fought and how well you performed.

Based on resumes PAC is well ahead of Floyd for a reason....he's got more substance threaded throughout his resume. But that's not saying Floyd's got a shitty resume...it just means PAC's path to greatness is one that is unmatch...by anyone current today.

Plus....the criticism Floyd gets in large is accredited to his own doing... Every man has got to own up and take responsibility for their own actions and words. Floyd says things and does things to get reactions...and it's not always the reaction he expected.

It looks to me that Mayweather could have fought some more notable names certainly at 147. You can say Pacquiao has lined-up stooges who come forward but it would be a harsh criticism considering these guys were established 147lbers who Floyd somehow managed to not fight for a plethera of reasons.

I remember being filled with optimism looking at the Welterwieght Division and the potential match-ups a few years back with names like Mayweather, Margarito, Williams, Cotto, Mosley, Cintron, Clottey, Quintana etc but was left disappointed that Floyd didn't really take part in the battles except for fighting Mosley.

Pacquiao arrived and fought a few of them yet Floyd has been at the weight longer with only Shanes name on his resume.

Maybe it has been fate, maybe hand injuries and rest have played a part in Floyds lack of participation and it was just luck/timing/politics/money that meant he faces Hatton, Marquez and Ortiz, guys coming up in weight instead of the others but it does look suspect.

now i put this up a few pages back...but dont know if you saw it

now you say margarito is noteable...ok at that time margarito had the WBO championship belt...but look at Baldomir...baldomir beat judah who was recognized as the undisputed welterweight champ at the time coming off a win by stoppage, not only that but baldomir was the 10-1 underdog...and WON (he just didnt pay sanctioning fees for the other belts) so baldomir was the undisputed welterweight champ if you want to be technical about it cant take it away just because he didnt want to end up paying more than he would've made for the fight just for the sake of having belts...then he beat gatti...

floyd fought him over margartio...so can that be considered ducking?

and paul williams are you serious? when williams started off at 156 and had even been up to 160...so floyd shouldve gone up and fought a guy walkin around at 20lbs more than him...does that make sense?!?! but then people wanna complain about floyd v marquez and the weight (but not pacquiao vs larios even though pacquiao made him come up a few weight classes) how were they going to make that happen? who was williams at the time? he didnt even have a major title when floyd got to that class floyd moved up and faught mitchell in that nov. williams had a fight in dec. they both had fights that next april AND williams had a fight the NEXT MONTH then that nov. floyd fought baldomir who shouldve been recognized as undisputed welterweight champ (were it not for the sanctioning fees) and williams had a fight that same day too. then floyd fought de la hoya 2MONTHS before williams fought margarito and got his FIRST major title other ones he had were the USNBC and NABO titles...who pays attention to those? THEN floyd fought hatton and williams lost his title then had a rematch to get it back before moving up to 157 but floyd went on a leave then...so even then williams couldnt have fought him...and you wanna complain about floyd taking off that time?..what about de la hoya being gone 20months?

how were tszyu and mayweather going to fight...mayweather had just moved up to 140 and fought corley in his 1st figth at that weight in may and tszyu then fought sharba mitchell that november...the next jan. mayweather fought bruselles, then tszyu fought hatton and was retired in june so when were they going to fight?!!? floyd had just reached that weight class and tszyu was retired by hatton ONE YEAR after that...so what floyd was supposed to all of a sudden get a title shot against the undisputed champ immediately he entered the class??? floyd fought corley and bruseles for the WBC eliminator in that class then went to fight gatti for the title...how is it floyds fault he moves up to a weight and people expect him to fight the guy who unified the belts when he isnt even in contention status and the guy retires a year later...

as for fighting hatton at that time floyd moved up to 147 after the gatti fight and fought sharba mitchell then zab judah and then thats where people are saying he should've fought margarito BUT INSTEAD he went to fight the guy who just beat the undisputed welterweight champ as i stated above...so when would he fight hatton at that point or margarito...then he fought de la hoya...
