LMAO at Ali always calling all his opponents BUMS.
Ali shocked America and they didn't know what to do but fear him.
There was only one Ali! The greatest!

In America, everything is about race.
That's why a ignorant chump like Trump and a family of Nazi sympathizers like the Bush family can run for President.
If no one cared then Trump wouldn't be running on the primary party ticket of Southern strategists, I.E. Formerly known as, Dixiecrats.

you ignored the question, how was joe louis a villain?

in fairness the repubicans did abolish slavery and fight for civil rights, the democratic party founded the kkk yet this is never mentioned

Star African American boxers who didn't play villains: Joe Louis, Floyd Patterson, Joe Frazier, Ray Robinson, Ezzard Charles, Archie Moore, Ray Leonard, Marvin Hagler, Tommy Hearns, Roy Jones, etc. Joe Louis' schtick was actually the opposite. He played a baby face after Jack Johnson's reign. It was a breathe of fresh air and he made more money than Johnson ever did.

This belongs in the Lounge, but the Southern Dixiecrat usurped the Republican party in the 1950s.
This is why Martin Luther King made the speech on why he could no longer vote for the party of his father, Lincoln's Republican party, because it had been infiltrated and taken over by the Southern Dixiecrats.
The KKK was a component of the southern Dixiecrats.

This guy, Judah Philip Benjamin, was a major officer of the confederates, and a major sponsor of the Civil war. You can say he was one of the founders of the southern Dixiecrats.

ya i just think no one really cares about race apart from a minority of americans who are very hung up on it. Anyone can decide to play the villain, look at Conor McGregor ,he takes being the villain to a whole new level

LOL. You must not be American since you lack basic American awareness.

I never said that Louis "played" the villian. What I said was that Louis was African American, he inherently became the villain. With your lack of comprehension of American, I don't doubt that you are still confused.

If that's true, I hope I or my family never become American heroes, left to die penniless and pitiful.

Joe Louis was a hero. It was Ali who deliberately played the villain for most of his career. He played the "race" card and every other card!!

Ali only became a widespread "hero" later in life. I wonder how much of his outspokenness was real and how much was for effect? Made him a hero eventually, though.

    Pretty amazing.

tons of people die penniless, its due to them not being smart enough to look after themselves and their finances. nothing to do with race. people need to take personal responsibility for their own stupidity rather than make excuses.

Those "tons of people" weren't American heroes who displayed American superiority over the Nazi, were they?
Louis's problem was he trusted people like Bob Arum, and he paid for it.

ugh no, lewis's problem was he's he had multiple marriages, was an alcoholic and had serious drug problems, which in turn cause serious mental and physical issue.

Joe Louis is the reason Joe Louis died penniless, people need to accept personal responsibility for their actions not blame others

look at George Best for example
