I was reading an old interview with Sanchez where he said Kovalev was a sparring partner for GGG, Sanchez said he did not like Kovalev's personality and didn't want him in his gym? Does anybody know the full story?
JDJ's version was that sanchez was making kov and ggg go at each other like madmen in sparring. Kov thought it was a bit much. So he left for jdj. Abel was bitter so exaggerated the ggg tale. I think that's the gist.
I remember Sanches saying he wanted guys like Angulo to spar with Golovkin. He wanted that come forward, ***** to the wall type deal. I guess JDJ´s version hold more ground. And anyways, Sanchez talks mad **** all the time. Hes worse than Roach or quite possibly even Floyd Sr.
